# [USA] Can I Choose My Phone Number When I Sign Up?

Once your account is successfully activated, your phone number will be automatically assigned.

It is not possible to choose a specific phone number during activation, as numbers are assigned randomly based on our available inventory, 

However, PhoneBox allows you to change your phone number one time for free.
