Am I able to transfer my existing phone number to PhoneBox?


Of course! You can transfer your existing phone number from your current service provider to us.

To transfer your phone number from the previous service provider, you will be asked if you would like to port in your phone number when activating. Please select "Yes" and confirm whether your phone number is wireless or landline.



If it's a landline number, we regret to inform you that we are not able to port in the landline number at this moment.



If you are porting in your wireless number, please enter your phone number and verify to see if your number is eligible to be transferred.


If it's verified, please enter the correct port-in information; your Account Number and PIN. Also, the service address, which is the registered address on your current service provider's side, needs to be entered.


What if you don't have your account number and PIN? You can contact your current service provider's customer care team and get the information from them.



Please note that the service address is not your residential address. This address must match the registered one on your current provider's side. It can be different from your shipping address. Please note that the service address cannot be a P.O. Box.


If your phone number is not eligible for port-in, then you will see the error message below. In this case, the issue is with your current service provider. Please contact your current carrier.



Congratulations! You successfully requested to port in your phone number to PhoneBox. The port-in process will be completed within two hours if all the information is correct.


Case example:


Mr. John would like to take advantage of the great plan options available in PhoneBox. However, he would like to maintain his current Phone Number. Upon activation, Mr. John can add his previous provider's information within the port in section.
