Are all devices compatible with eSIM?




Requirements:


Unfortunately, not all devices are compatible with eSIM. Please check your device's eSIM capability before submitting your order.


Device compatibility may have restrictions depending on the country of origin or carrier. Please verify that your device supports eSIM by checking with the retailer where you purchased it.


General Compatibility:


  • iPhone XS and newer models are compatible with eSIM
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ Series and newer models are compatible with eSIM


Important Regional Restrictions:


Depending on where you purchased your device, eSIM may not be available.


iPhone Series: eSIM is not available on iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 11 series, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR purchased in mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macao. However, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone SE (2nd generation), and iPhone XS purchased in Hong Kong and Macao do feature eSIM.


Pixel Series:


  • Only Pixel 2 devices that come with Google Fi service are eSIM compatible
  • Pixel 3 devices purchased in Australia, Taiwan, and Japan are not eSIM compatible
  • Pixel 3 devices purchased with service from US or Canadian carriers (except Sprint and Google Fi) are not eSIM compatible
  • Pixel 3a devices purchased in Southeast Asia or with Verizon service are not eSIM compatible


Samsung Series: The following Samsung devices are NOT eSIM compatible:


  • Samsung S20 Series from the US
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 5G Series from the US
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G from the US
  • Samsung Note 20 Ultra from the US and Hong Kong
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 from the US and Hong Kong


Samsung devices that ARE eSIM compatible from Korea: Galaxy Fold 4, Galaxy Fold 5, Galaxy Flip 4, Galaxy Flip 5, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
