Can I continue using my SIM card after my term expires?

After the term expires, PhoneBox will keep the client's phone number for up to 90 days. You can restart the service with your SIM anytime within this period.

Within the first 30 days, you can reactivate the account for free. After 30 days, the reactivation will be available at the cost of $10+tax. After 90 days, your account will be permanently terminated, and the phone number and the SIM card won't be available anymore.

If your account is already permanently terminated, you can request activation for a new phone number. If you decide on a new service with PhoneBox, a new SIM card will be shipped out to your address.

For eSIM, if you already deleted the eSIM from your device, you cannot re-install the same eSIM. Also, if you purchased a new device, you cannot transfer it from one device to another even when your account is active. In this case, you can reach out to the PhoneBox customer support team and request a new eSIM QR code.

To sum up, if you reactivate your account within 90 days, you can keep using your SIM. However, once it's terminated after 90 days, any type of SIM card, eSIM or a physical SIM, can't be reused.
