Can I schedule my account termination date?


Requirements:

  • If you have an outstanding balance on your account, you must make a payment before termination
  • If you use data overage, you have to pay for it before termination
  • If you are still on our device contract, you have to pay for the rest of the device fee
  • If you used a one-month plan discount, you should stay with us for over four months (including the free month)


Termination means completely closing your PhoneBox account. You may need to terminate your phone plan in some situations, such as going back to your home country. In this case, monthly customers can go to the online account page.


NOTE:

If you are a prepaid customer, your account will be automatically terminated once the plan term ends. It is not necessary to request termination. However, if you have an auto-extension registered in your account, you are responsible for canceling the auto-extension under your account. To cancel your auto extension, login to your online account and cancel or contact customer support for further assistance.


Case example

The customer wants to terminate his account as of March 13th since he has to go back to his country, how can he send the request?

Solution: The customer can go to our online account and send a termination request, or send it through email, phone call, live chat, SMS.
