Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?



Requirements:


You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. The new plan's effective start date will depend if it is a monthly or a prepaid plan.


  • Prepaid plan: Customers must contact Customer Service for plan change processes.
  • Monthly plan: It is possible to request a new plan through online account self-service.

PhoneBox provides mobile phone plans without commitment. It means you can upgrade or downgrade your phone plan at any time. The new plan’s effective start date for a prepaid plan will be after the current term.


The monthly effective start date will be on the 2nd of the following month. If you are a monthly customer, you might choose your new plan on self-service. To request a plan change, please follow the steps below:


Step 1



Please, visit PhoneBox website and log in with your account clicking on the right top corner "My Account" button. If you don’t have one yet, sign up first.



Step 2



On your account, click “Change My Plan.”


Step 3



You can now select your new plan. It will be effective on the 2nd of next month. Please, note that you can only choose a plan from the same carrier. If you are a Rogers customer, you can only select a different Rogers plan. If you wish to switch to another carrier, you must contact our Customer Service.


Case example


Ms. Veronica would like to change her plan. Her current plan is $45/15GB, and she wishes to downgrade to the $35/7GB plan. She is concerned about how PhoneBox will provide her with credit, considering the price difference between both plans.


Solution: Ms. Veronica can downgrade without concern. PhoneBox will apply the $10 difference on her next month’s invoice.
