How do I add more data to my prepaid plan?

Requirements: To top up or add more data, you must have a valid credit card or debit card. PhoneBox accepts both Canadian and international credit cards.

When You Need More Data: When you reach 100% of the limit , data will be blocked automatically. If you wish to use more data, you can add it through your online account, text message (with credit card linked to your account), or by contact via live chat support customer service.

Option 1 - Website

1. Log into your account on our website or app
2. Look for Top Up option
3. Select the amount of GB you wish to add, then click **Continue ($15+tax per 1GB) **
4. Complete your payment

Note: Select "Setup Automatic Payments" if you wish to extend your service or top up data without making manual payments in the future.

Option 2 - SMS

Send a text message with "My data" and you will receive instructions on how to add more data. Follow the prompts to select your desired data amount and complete the payment. Once payment is processed, your data will be restored as quickly as possible.

Option 3 - Customer Service Live Chat support team for assistance with adding data to your account. 

Real-World Example:

Mrs. Sara used all 5GB of her data within 10 days of her prepaid term. She needs data to use maps while traveling around the city and wonders if she can add more data.

Solution: Mrs. Sara can add more data through our website using Wi-Fi or sharing Wi-Fi, or she can text "My data" to receive step-by-step instructions for adding data via SMS.
