How do I add more data to my prepaid plan?



Requirements:


To top up/ add more data, you must have a valid credit card or debit card. For credit cards, PhoneBox accepts both Canadian or international types.


When you use up the allowed data capacity, the data will be blocked automatically. If you wish to use more data, you can add it. The process can be done via online account, text message (auto payment with credit card linked on account), or calling our customer service.


Option 1 - Website


  1. Log in to your account


  1. Look for Top Up


  1. Select the amount of GB you wish to add, then click “continue”


Note: Please select “Setup Automatic payments”, if you wish to extend the service or top up data without making payments manually.


Option 2 - SMS





We will send you a notification text, please answer the “amount of data you wish to add”, then follow the instructions. Once payment has been made, your data will be restored as soon as possible.


Case example:


Mrs. Sara used all 5GB data within 10 days of prepaid term. She needs to have data to use a map while she travels around the city. Is she able to add on more data?


Solution: Mrs. Sara can add more data on our website with Wi-Fi or text “My data” then you will receive the following instruction.
