I can't make outgoing calls.



Requirements:


  • Most troubleshooting issues can be done by simply restarting your device (reboot) or taking the SIM card out and inserting it back into the device.
  • Make sure that you are making calls to a Canadian phone number. International calling, except to the US, is currently unavailable.
  • Check whether there’s a signal on your device and make sure the SIM card is inserted properly.


You should first check if the service is available for you by the time you are trying to make outgoing calls. Once you can see that there’s a service available on your device, you must check whether the phone number you are calling out to is a Canadian phone number instead of an international number.


Like an issue with "no service", the inability to make outgoing calls can be caused due to the issue with signals, device, or SIM card lock. We recommend our clients check our support page and proceed with the APN troubleshooting for different devices such as Apple or Androids devices.

Case example:


1.Mr. Jay could not make outgoing calls, even though he confirmed that the number that he is calling to is a Canadian phone number. What Jay didn’t realize is that there’s no service in his device at all. Jay has gone through the troubleshooting to bring back his service, and he was able to make outgoing calls as usual from then on.


2.Miss Nancy could not make outgoing calls to her parents who were living in Italy. She called us and asked why she could not call to her parent. What Nancy did not realize was that we do not provide international calling service.
