I can't send text messages.

I can't send text messages.

Without a proper signal display on your device, sending out a text message can be an issue. First, restart your device to make sure the service is not working.

Checking your connectivity through cellular data or WiFi is also important as some devices require an internet connection to send out text messages.

For devices such as iPhones, we recommend checking the text message settings by simply going to the settings and scrolling down to find Messages. Make sure that your device is not locked or having technical issues due to manual settings.

Lastly, please make sure that your software is up-to-date. Text message problems can be caused due to the software version, so it should be the latest version on your device.

Case example:

James was not able to send any text messages even though he had confirmed his SIM was activated and he was in the USA. The message on his device was not showing as delivered, it just kept loading.

When contacting our Customer Care Team, James was advised to turn on his mobile data before sending the text messages, which worked.

This issue usually occurs on most Apple devices, in which customers would have to disable the function of iMessage to avoid this issue.
