I forgot to extend my prepaid plan before term ending date. How can I make a payment?



Unfortunately, once your prepaid plan expires, the account is automatically terminated and cannot be extended retroactively. However, if you need to reactivate service, here are your options:


If Your Account is Still Active (Before Expiration):


Payments can be made online or in our stores. To pay online, log into your account on our website or app:


  1. Go to HOME and then select Extension.
  2. Select your preferred payment method
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions


Accepted Payment Methods:


  • Credit card (Canadian or international are valid)
  • Canadian debit card
  • PayPal


If Your Account Has Already Expired:


You will need to set up a new account and service. You have two options:


Option 1: Log in to your self-serve account to make an extension. If you experience any issue for the login self-serve feel free to contact our **Live chat support team.  


One time payment link is valid for 15 minutes only. 


Option 2: If the number or account is no longer available, it will require you to purchase a new plan from our website.  (eSim or Physical sim are available)**



Real-World Example:


Ivan had a prepaid plan ending on April 25th. He forgot to extend the service until April 27th, when he tried to call his friend and realized he couldn't make phone calls.


He attempted to log into his online Self-Serve account, but it kept showing errors. He then contacted us via Live Chat, and a Customer Support agent to check the status and give you an update. 


Unfortunately, Ivan was unable to retrieve his original phone number. To continue using PhoneBox services, Ivan needed to purchase a new plan to have a new account and phone number.
