Is it possible to change the plan anytime?


Requirements:


  • If you are a monthly customer, you can request the plan change anytime on online self-service prior to your new monthly cycle. The new plan will be effective on the 2nd of the next month
  • If you are a prepaid customer, you can contact the customer support team before your new term starts
  • Your phone number will remain the same after plan changes process


As a PhoneBox customer, there will be no additional service fee charged for plan change requests. A prepaid mobile plan works for 30 days. In other words, your new phone plan will be effective after your current term ends.


If you are a monthly customer, you might choose your new plan on your online account self-service. Your new plan will be effective on the 2nd of the following month. To request a plan change, please, follow the steps below:


Step 1



Please, visit PhoneBox website and log in with your account clicking on the right top corner "My Account" button. If you don’t have one yet, sign up first.


Step 2



On your account, click “Change My Plan.”


Step 3



You can now select your new plan. It will be effective on the 2nd of next month. Please, note: you can only choose a plan from the same carrier. If you are a Rogers customer, you can only select a different Rogers plan. If you wish to switch to another carrier, you must contact our Customer Service.


Case example


Mr. Mike wishes to change his plan to a different network carrier on the online self-service. However, he can’t choose. What should Mr. Mike do?


Solution: He must contact PhoneBox customer service to request a plan change in this case. PhoneBox will provide him with a new SIM card with no extra fee and free shipping.
