Is it possible to set auto-extension for my prepaid plan?
Requirements:
Prepaid plan is a short term plan for students or travelers who visit Canada
The term can be extended before the 30 days term expiration. Auto-extension is recommended to be set up to avoid termination under the account once the term ends.
You are not eligible to set up an auto-extension through Visa Debit card.
There are few options available for you to complete setting up an automatic extension under your account. The first and foremost is to visit our website and log into your online account by clicking My Account on the top right corner of the web page.
If you have not already registered once before, simply select Sign Up. You will complete the entire process within less than a minute.
The second option is to simply contact our customer support to set up your auto-extension under your account.
Case Example:
Cindy has tried to process payment by contacting the customer care support team. However, due to the high volumes, the responses that Cindy received were sometimes delayed. When Cindy finally was able to get in touch with the support team, the payment that she provided has failed. Cindy has confirmed that the detailed information of her card is correct and it’s a Visa card. What Cindy was not aware of was that her card is a Visa Debit, instead of a Visa Credit.
One of our customer support agents has advised Cindy to process her payment via online account as the web page supports almost all forms of cards for the payment processes.
