My phone shows “No Service.”
“No service” issues can occur based on various reasons. The first common reason is that the service start date has not arrived. Before checking the service, it is important to have a look at the confirmation email we sent you, which specifies the service start date. Please note that International roaming is unavailable with PhoneBox prepaid plans, so you can use our services only when you are in the US.
If you are not able to use the service even when your service has already been started, please follow the steps below
- Restart your Device: Although this is a very simple process, it can often clear up any settings which may cause errors, effectively resolving many service issues.
- Power Down the Device & Remove/Re-insert the SIM: This method can also correct settings issues, with additional strength, as the device will detect a new SIM and establish a fresh connection!
- Network Reset Settings: With this process, the device will completely reset to the correct settings matching your current Network Provider. To process the network reset, kindly follow these steps:
- iPhone: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings > Enter your device password to confirm
- Android: Settings > General management or System > Reset or Reset options > Reset Network Settings ** This can be different, depending on your Android device model.
- APN setting: If the Network Reset doesn't resolve the issue, you can manually set a new APN. Please enter the following values into the APN settings of your device.
- NAME: Plintron
- Proxy: Leave blank
- Port: Leave blank
- Username: Leave blank
- Password: Leave blank
- Server: Leave blank
- MMSC: http://wholesale.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
- MCC: 310
- MNC: 260/240
- APN type: default, supl, mms
- APN Protocol: IPv4v6
- Turn APN on/off: Toggle on
- Mobile virtual network operator type: GID
- Mobile virtual network operator value: 7031 6902

Case example:
Mr. Park has been using his device in many different countries without any issues. His device allows him to use SIM cards from countries he visits with no problem. When Mr. Park came to visit the United States, his device was shown as having no service.
Solution: Mr. Park can check whether his service has already been started. He also needs to ensure that the SIM card is inserted correctly into this device. For most Apple devices, such as the iPhone, the latest version of the software is also highly recommended to be installed to avoid such issues.
