Long Distance Call
Long-distance calling rates vary depending on the network provider and destination. You can check your line type directly on your phone — the carrier name (TELUS, PhoneBox, or Rogers) is displayed at the top of your screen.
TELUS and PhoneBox Network users
Please review the list of the eligible 1,000 minutes free International calling countries
If you use up all of your included minutes or call a country not listed, additional charges will apply.
Rates for other international destinations may vary depending on the destination.
Rogers Network users
- Calls to the United States are charged at $0.45 per minute.
- Rates for other international destinations may vary depending on the destination.
911 Emergency Calls
Emergency calls to 911 are always free of charge, and there is no per-call or per-minute fee for dialing 911.
However, depending on the plan or region, a small monthly emergency access or service fee may appear on the bill. This fee is not related to individual 911 calls but helps support the infrastructure required to maintain emergency services.

The 411 directory assistance service is a paid service. Calls to 411 are charged at **$3.50 **per minute, starting from the moment the call is connected. Additional taxes may apply.
#Taxi Service
The #taxi service is also a paid service. Calls are charged at $2.50 per minute, beginning once the call is connected. Additional taxes may apply.
