[USA] How to Transfer Your USA Number to PhoneBox

PhoneBox Number Port-in Guide

You can transfer (port-in) your existing U.S. phone number from another service provider to PhoneBox.

Port-in is available either during activation or after your PhoneBox service is activated.


If you want to request port-in after activation, please contact PhoneBox Customer Support and request a port in your number.

How to Contact to PhoneBox US Customer Support team


Port-in Process


Before you begin, please make sure your phone number with your current provider is still active.

Please do not cancel your service with your previous provider until the port-in process is fully completed.


  1. Submit your port-in request to PhoneBox


1) Select “Yes” under “Do you want to port in your number?(US numbers only)”




2) Please fill out the required columns




To submit your request, you will need the following information:


  • Account number
  • Phone number to be ported 
  • PIN number 
  • Service Address 


Note 

  • Please contact your current provider to get the account number, PIN number, and the services address that is associated with your account.
  • The service address must be the same as your current services provider's invoice, otherwise, the port-in may not succeed.



Port-in Completed


The port-in process is typically completed within 2 hours, if provided all information is correct.

Once your number is successfully working on PhoneBox, you may then contact your previous provider to cancel your old plan.
