Understanding US Plan Expiry and Reactivation Rules
This article explains what happens when your PhoneBox service ends and what options may be available depending on your plan type.
What Happens When Your PhoneBox Service Ends
You can check your plan and service term on the PhoneBox Self-serve
If the extension payment is not completed before the end of the term, the service will end automatically.
To avoid any interruption to your service, we recommend completing the extension payment before the term ends or enabling auto-payment in advance.
If your service has already ended, reactivation may still be available depending on how much time has passed since the service ended.
How can I reactivate my Phone Number?
- Service ended within 30 days
If your service ended within the last 30 days, please contact the PhoneBox Customer Support team for assistance.
No reactivation fee applies, and you can continue using your existing SIM card after the extension is completed.
- Service ended within 31–60 days
If your service ended between 31 and 60 days ago, reactivation is still possible.
In this case, please contact the PhoneBox Customer Support team for assistance.
A reactivation fee of $10 (USD) + tax will apply. Once the service is reactivated, you can continue using your existing SIM card.
- Service ended after 60days
If more than 60 days have passed since your service ended, reactivation is no longer available. Your previous phone number and service cannot be restored.
To continue using PhoneBox services, you will need to purchase a new plan.
