What is the difference between plan change and term extension?
As you are using your prepaid plan, you may wonder about the differences between your prepaid plan change and your prepaid term extension.
A plan change will allow you to upgrade or downgrade your plan on your following prepaid term (cycle). After you decide and choose to downgrade or upgrade your plan, you will be asked to confirm your new plan, along with a term extension. This means that your new downgraded or upgraded plan cannot be effective under the current prepaid cycle, so the new plan will be effective from the upcoming prepaid cycle instead.
A term extension, however, allows you to extend your prepaid term (cycle). This means that your prepaid plan will remain the same as your current plan, and the price will also remain the same.
Please note that a plan change will require you to extend your service.
