Why have I not received my SIM card yet?



Requirements:


To get a new SIM card, customers must request on the website.
Customers can order a SIM card online before they come to Canada. We will deliver to your place wherever you are! First, choose one of our plans.


Please make sure to select the plan in the correct section: Monthly Plan or Prepaid Plan.


After you submit your request, your SIM card will be sent out by the following day. Please note the Shipping department is off on weekends.


Please, kindly check your email periodically after activation request. We verify your address before shipping it and we will contact you if we have any question.


Why have I not received my SIM card yet?


If you are in Canada, please allow couriers 3-5 business days to deliver your package. If you are outside Canada, it takes 3-4 business weeks to be delivered.


If you are staying at a hotel, please kindly check with your front desk for your package.


What if I still have not received my SIM card after 1 week in Canada/1 month overseas?


We are sorry to inform you that sometimes packages can be lost during the transit or can get returned due to invalid address.


If you still haven’t got your SIM card after a week if you are in Canada or a month if you are currently overseas, please contact us at services@gophonebox.com immediately with your accurate address. We will confirm the information once again and arrange the shipping to send a new SIM card to you!


Please, note if you will come to Canada within a month, we recommend that you provide us your Canadian address to avoid this issue again.


Case Example:


Hos will come to Canada for a working holiday in the summer of 2022. He requested an activation on our website on May 9th. One month later, he hadn't received the SIM card from PhoneBox so he contacted us on WhatsApp on Jun 10th.


An agent in Customer Support mentioned, “We shipped out your SIM card to your address on May 10th but I guess it might be lost during the transit. Since there is no tracking number for international shipping, we are unable to know the further information.. We will ship another SIM card to you tomorrow.”


But Hos cannot wait for the next month since his flight is on Jun 30th. The agent asked him his Canadian address and mentioned, “We will send another SIM card to your Canadian address before your activation date. Please make sure it’s able to be received.”
