Will I get a refund for unused services when I terminate my account?
Requirements:
- You must be a monthly plan customer
- Your refund balances will be deducted if there's any remaining outstanding balance left under your account.
You will receive a Termination & Refund Confirmation email within 1–2 business days from your termination date.
Please make sure to click "Submit Confirmation" in the email.
A refund for the unused service fee (based on the number of unused days) will be processed to your last payment method at the end of the month following your termination date.
If you are a prepaid customer, a refund is only eligible if the account cancellation request has been submitted before the service starts.
Case example
Ms. Mari’s account was terminated on March 10th, and she would like to know if she can get a refund.
Solution:
If Mari had a monthly plan and did not use any overage data, she will be eligible for a refund of the full amount of the unused service fee.
After her account is terminated, she will receive a "PhoneBox Termination & Refund Confirmation" email.
To receive the refund, she must click the "Submit Confirmation" button in that email.
Please kindly note that the refund will be processed to her last payment method at the end of the month following her termination date.
