[USA] What Happens When You Reach Your Data Limit & How to Top Up More Data
Data Usage, Top-Up, and Limits on PhoneBox US Plans
Your plan includes a fixed amount of high-speed data, which is available until the end date of your current plan term.
This article explains what happens when you reach your data limit, how to add more data, and important notes about data top-ups.
What Happens When You Reach Your Data Limit?
Once you reach your high-speed data limit, the following will apply:
For All Plans
- You will continue to have data access for the remainder of your plan term
- Data speed will be reduced to 64 kbps
- Your service will remain active
For 30-Day Plans Only
- At the start of your next 30-day cycle, your full high-speed data allowance will reset automatically
- If you need additional high-speed data before your current term ends, you may purchase a data top-up ($10 USD per 1GB)
- You may also choose to upgrade your plan before extending your service to receive more high-speed data for the next cycle
How to Top Up More Data
Data top up is $10(USD) per 1GB and will be applied to your current prepaid cycle only.
Important Notes
- Data top-ups are non-refundable
- Top-up data can only be used within your current prepaid term. Unused top-up data does not carry over to the next billing cycle
